Giddy Up 2025 Team!!
After a decade in business, we've developed a certain cadence at Coeur Sports. Spring brings our annual training camp and the traditional start of the triathlon calendar with Oceanside 70.3 in San Diego.
By Summer, we're in full swing cheering for racers, encouraging our First Timers, and attending our sponsored events.
Fall brings the world championships in Kona or Nice, the 70.3 World Champs, our holiday sales and....drum roll please, the announcement of our Team!
We're absolutely thrilled to announce the 2025 class of Coeur Sports Ambassadors. We went through a TON of applications and this is a team composed of passionate, dedicated, and inspiring women who embody the spirit of triathlon and endurance sports.
There's no cost to be a Coeur Ambassador, but that doesn't mean it's free.
We don't think this is the norm in triathlon, but our Ambassadors don't have to pay to be on the team. However, that doesn't mean it's a free program. Instead, they pay their dues by helping and encouraging others.
These women have been selected for their ability to inspire, to have fun, their commitment to fair play, and their desire to be leaders. During the review process, we get our fair share of individuals who just want a discount or who are in it for self-promotion and we respectfully decline those applications.
The ladies selected help us fulfill our mission to inspire, support and encourage women through their triathlon journeys and adventures. Some Ambassadors are podium queens and some are in the sport of triathlon because they know it's more than just a race. It’s a path to self-discovery, personal strength, and camaraderie.
No matter their reason or goals, all of our ambassadors represent the best of this sport—balancing the rigorous demands of training with a strong desire to uplift others while competing fairly.
What else do we expect of the Coeur athletes?
This group is a collection of women of all ages and experiences, united by a shared love of endurance sports and a commitment to integrity. They are diverse in their backgrounds and stories but are driven by a common desire to inspire and motivate others.
When they sign on, they know that they commit to:
- Upholding Coeur Sports’ No-Cheating Policy: Fair play is essential to the spirit of competition and our team is held to high standards. They are expected to demonstrate honesty and integrity in every race and they know that cheating has no place in triathlon. Our ambassadors are dedicated to competing fairly, knowing that true victory lies in the effort, not just the outcome.
- Being Positive Role Models: Ambassadors are expected to be visible in their communities, sharing their journeys and helping others navigate their own triathlon experiences. They are here to support women at every stage of their athletic journey, from the often intimidated first-time racers to seasoned elites. They know that some times they'll have the races of their lives but they will also have days that don't go their way. We hope that on the course and at the finish line, you will not be able to tell which one they had. As hard as it is, on the tough days, we still expect them to cheer for their competitors and lend a helping hand when needed.
- Championing Inclusivity and Encouragement: There's been pushback on the concept of "inclusivity" recently, but the Coeur Sports’ mission continues to extend beyond clothing. We are here to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for all women interested in endurance sports. After all, we are a company named for Heart & Courage, so we lead with love.
Triathlon is a sport that requires grit, determination, and a lot of heart. The team at Coeur Sports embodies these qualities and show that both, compassion and gut-bursting fun have a place in the tough world of endurance sports. As we train, compete, and cheer you and each other on, we demonstrate that the community’s strength lies in its diversity and unity.
This team is poised to make an impact and when you see a Coeur ambassador training or at a race, just know that you're among friends. They're here to help encourage you in any way they can. Give 'em a high-five or say hi. Chances are you'll make a new friend!
