Check out the latest edition of the Coeur Podcast by clicking on the EarSplitz logo below. In this month's episode, our hosts Lilias and David chat with Coeur sponsored professional triathlete Kate Bevilaqua.
Kate has been with us from the very beginning and she is part of the Coeur DNA. For those of you who don't know her, Kate is not only a champion at almost every level of triathlon (Ironman 140.6, 70.3 and even Ultraman), but she's also one of the most down to earth, nicest and grounded individuals we've ever met.
Kate is from Perth, Western Australia, and she has been "sporty" (as they say) all her life. A relative got her into triathlon and she fell in love with the sport from the beginning.
She raced all distances, but it was clear that she had exceptional talent with long course triathlons. After qualifying for Kona as an Age Group athlete, she really committed to the process and on her way to becoming a professional. During the podcast, Kate will take us through her journey and paint a picture of what her life looks like as a pro.
We'll also hear from Jess Smith of Hardcouer Coaching as she talks about how to approach the process of race preparation and we'll welcome Leslie Myers of Foodsensenow.com to talk about a summer salad that is perfect for this time of year.
Finally, we'll wrap up with Coeur Founder Kebby Holden as she shares some exciting news about an award Coeur Sports recently received for its Zelle line of clothing. Oh..and since she's so humble, Kebby won't mention that she just won the 2019 Leadership Award from USA Triathlon, but we're not going to miss this opportunity to give Kebby a bit of well-deserved recognition!
