Our patented seam-free fleece chamois creates a friction-free barrier for the ride and the run (i.e. eliminates chafing in those areas). A three inch gentle - but insistent - powerband gripper keeps the legs from riding up and doesn't pinch. A belly button grazing wider waistband is super flattering and comfy. BETTER than expected, they were AMAZING.
When I initially received these shorts, I wanted to return them. I was signed up for my first Xterra Triathlon and was used to mountain biking with a thicker chamois. I knew the biking portion of the course would take me 2.5-3 hours (22 miles, 3,000' of elevation) and I was worried these would not be comfortable enough for that long. I reached out the day of to set up a return and never got a response, or so I thought. Turns out I received a response immediately, I just happened to miss it. THANK GOODNESS, because I decided just to give them a try and turns out they were AMAZING. I had no issues in the saddle with the thinner chamois, and these were incredibly comfortable for both the swim and run. Additionally, I'd like to note how well the pockets on the rear hips worked for my chews, easy to access but kept everything in. My partner had a different brand of tri-shorts with pockets on the legs; they were harder to access while he was pedaling, and he continued to have things fall out during his rides. The sizing guide was helpful, too. I'm around 5'6" and 135lbs and ordered a Medium. They fit perfectly.
